Where do you write? What landscape inspires your imagination? For me, the peace and solitude of the great outdoors are my prime setting. With four kids in the house, quiet can be pretty hard to find. Many times my wisest and brightest ideas come at the strangest times; like at work, on a bike, during a business meeting or wandering through Target. I keep OneNote on my phone’s main screen so I can record the idea instantly.
I love listening to waves crashing in the ocean but, unfortunately, the ocean is not in my back yard. Google play music has a playlist called Waves: Sleep and when I open the back door and play the music through the Sonos speakers, I magically escape to the ocean. Hey, whatever it takes. Creativity comes in all forms.
